Bulls Milk bar.

Bulls Milk bar.

It's the old style milk bar with 1960s music, fantastic artworks of old cars, diner-style seating and its opening is centre stage, State Highway 1, in Bulls today.

The new hangout has been built on the front of a garage and engineering shop owned by Jeremy and Megan Climo.

Amahl Tourni.

But running the new milk bar will be Amahl Tourni who promises good home cooking including cakes, cheesecakes, burgers and of course the obligatory ice cream floats, cones, sundaes and large range of sweets and coffee, Tourni said.

Tourni admits it's quite a venture but believes the new milk bar will be a hit.

Owner Climo said the running of the milk bar is completely over to Tourni who he has the utmost faith in.

"We'll help but Amahl really knows what's she's doing and of course she will have staff to help.''

Tourni said the run-up to the opening had been nerve-wracking.

"But we're there and it's going to be great.''
