Nadia Reid to stop in Whanganui on High & Lonely Tour

Singer and songwriter Nadia Reid will play at Whanganui's Lucky Bar Kitchen next week.

Nadia Reid has been described as New Zealand's own Joni Mitchell and as our best young singer and songwriter.

Whanganui audiences will get the opportunity to find out for themselves when she performs with her band at Lucky Bar + Kitchen on July 15.

The Dunedin-based musician is making the final stop on her High & Lonely tour before she flies off to record her third album in the US.

Reid says she wants to "road test some of the new songs" that will appear on the record.

High & Lonely comes from the title of a song she premiered on Radio NZ in April.

Reid has had a busy year touring in Europe and America, supporting Ryan Adams in his sold-out Auckland show, named as a finalist for the 2017 APRA Silver Scroll Award and the 2018 Taite Music Prize, and received glowing reviews from international music media for both her albums and her live shows.
