Calling owners of classic, custom and other interesting vehicles built between 1917 and 2017 - the Motor Trade Association needs your help.
The local branch is revving up to celebrate 100 years of the Motor Trade Association (MTA) in New Zealand with a car show at Springvale Park on August 19-20 in conjunction with the Wanganui Home Show.
Vice-president Murray Palmer said the car show will cover the 100 years from 1917 when the association was formed in Feilding.
Vehicles on display will range from classic and vintage vehicles to street rod and custom cars, dragsters, race cars including a recent top-of-the-range American car, classic and race boats and a range of motorcycles covering the 1917 to 2017 period. There will be some extremely rare and expensive vehicles on display.
The event organisers are looking for more vehicles to include in the show. People who would like to display their vehicles should contact Mike Johnston (mike@holdaways.co.nz), Murray Palmer (murray.hrm@icloud.com or 021 254 3131) or Willy Pelzer (willy.p@xtra.co.nz).
