The Wanganui Motorcycle Club was hosting the event up at the club's track at Languard Bluff

The start gate dropping for the Year 12-16 85cc race at the North Island Secondary Schools Motocross championships this morning.

There were five divisions for around 70 entries overall, with some riders entering more than one division.

The Wanganui Motorcycle Club was hosting the event up at the club's track at Languard Bluff.

Whanganui High School was well represented with over a dozen entries.

The Whanganui Chronicle will have results early next week.
