Wanganui's favourite community newspaper, Midweek, now has a new home online, with a responsive design that enables you to read it on any device.

The service is totally free, and aimed at ensuring our readers can get their local news, wherever they may be - on their desktop computer, tablet or smartphone.

You can go to the main page - www.communitynews.co.nz - to see digital editions of the entire family of NZME. community publications, or go direct to our latest issue of Midweek at www.wanganuimidweek.communitynews.co.nz

Editions will be updated every week, with the latest e-book viewable by the afternoon of every publication day.

On desktop, the new platform offers great features such as the ability to save, send, print and share your favourite pages. You can click through to contact many of our advertisers or to visit their websites - wherever an email or web address is included in the text. Plus, you'll be able to view earlier editions of the newspaper, with our archive beginning in February this year.
