An ambulance transported a man to Whanganui Hospital in a moderate condition after he was hit by a car on Victoria Ave. Photo / File

A man was transported to Whanganui Hospital with moderate injuries after he was hit by a car on Victoria Ave on Wednesday.

An ambulance and police attended the scene at about 2.50pm.

A police spokesperson said enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
