A man has denied ramming a police car with a ute in Marton.
Christopher Malcolm Duane Muir, 35, pleaded not guilty in the Whanganui District Court on Tuesday to a charge of aggravated injury with intent to avoid arrest.
The Lower Hutt man has also denied charges of failing to
stop for police, doing a threatening act, burglary, male assaults female, wilful damage, and five breaches of a protection order.
He has pleaded guilty to another charge of failing to stop, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, and unlawfully converting a motor vehicle.
Muir has made an intimated guilty plea on one count of reckless driving.
