The man charged with murdering Miriama Raukawa following a central Whanganui stabbing in January can now be named.
He is Jarrod Arnold Dent.
Raukawa died and five others were injured following knife attacks allegedly carried out by Dent on January 22.
Dent, 36, had his first appearance in the High
Court at Whanganui on Thursday morning where his interim name suppression ceased.
No mention was made of a psychiatric report that was ordered by Judge Chris Sygrove when Dent appeared in the Whanganui District Court on January 23.
