Save Rueben Warburton pleaded guilty to disorderly behavior and escaping police custody in Whanganui District Court on Tuesday.
A man who got into a scuffle appeared in the Whanganui District Court on Tuesday.
On December 10 police were called to a fight outside the Red Lion Inn. They observed Reuben Warburton involved in the scuffle.
Police prosecutor Rachel Willemsen says once things settled done an officer tapped Warburton
on the shoulder and asked him to come with him.
At this Warburton said he was just defending himself.
In court he admitted disorderly behaviour.
Judge Dugald Matheson sentenced Warburton to six months supervision.
