Versatile Wanganui City's Cameron Hussey is pictured trying to evade the challenge of North End Reserves' Nelson Braddon-Parsons in City's 2-1 loss to the Palmerston North side at Wembley Park on Saturday.

It was City's first loss in seven games of this year's Horizons Premiership.

City still lead the 10-team competition with 18 points, two ahead of Palmerston North Boys' High School in second.

GJ Gardner Homes Whanganui Athletic Reserves sit third on 12 points after Saturday's 4-0 win over Palmerston North Marist Reserves at Wembley Park.

Meanwhile, in the Central Federation League, Wanganui Athletic had a 1-0 away win at Havelock North over the Wanderers, seeing them to the top of the table with 18 points having played six and won six.
