It will be all on today at Wanganui's Pakaitore/Moutoa Gardens as Whanganui iwi celebrate the 20th anniversary of their occupation there.
Last night there was entertainment, while today begins with karakia by the river at 6am and a powhiri for visitors at 9am.
After that there will be a funtriathlon, kapa haka, a midday feast and cake cutting, photographs and talk. In the evening, after another meal, the entertainment begins, probably finishing with photographs and video of the occupation and the Te Awa Tupua - Voices of the River film.
Taupo Quay will be closed at the gardens today and tomorrow.
