Helloworld Wanganui's Leanne Comrie wins national sales award

Leanne Comrie won the national sales trophy at the Helloworld awards.

Whanganui travel consultant Leanne Comrie is thrilled with her win in the Helloworld national awards.

Comrie, who is the manager at Helloworld Wanganui and has been in the travel industry for more than 20 years, received the award for sales performance for the period July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018. The award was presented by Helloworld management and entertainers Jono and Ben at Helloworld's gala awards event in Wellington.

"It was awesome," Comrie said.

"I've won awards before but not for a long time and not at that level."

Comrie's past year's sales were benchmarked against Helloworld's 70 independently-owned branches nationwide.
