The feature Hatrick chasing action tomorrow evening is provided by field of exciting up and coming greyhounds.

Keep an eye on all eight greyhounds engaged in the $7,500 New Zealand Racing Series Novice final (Race 5) as many of these chasers will quickly advance through the grades.

The NZRS race series is restricted to New Zealand-bred greyhounds, only in this instance it is just the lower graded greyhounds eligible.

With one exception, it required a heat win to make this final as seven cut throat 520m heats were keenly contested here two Wednesday's ago.

The quickest heat win was delivered by the northern Ben Craik-trained Amorini, who completed his assignment in a tidy 30.32s.

He then returned to the Manukau Stadium, where he clocked the meet-best 527m time on Sunday when running a handy 30.60s.

Amorini is seeking to maintain his unbeaten record as he'll exit from trap three for his fifth career race.

Lisa Cole provides two finalists, with both of her contenders owing a fair amount of early pace.

Bigtime Leads stylishly won her heat in 30.61s, then she delivered an effortless Manawatu 410m win on Monday.

Bigtime Kiss held on gamely for her 30.71s heat win and then she was run down late over 457m on Monday.

She must seize the early race lead here.

Marcie Flipp has qualified three contenders, with Cookie Biscuit being the quickest of her runners when he produced his 30.65s heat win.

Local trainers will be represented in this final, with Melissa Olden mentoring Cossie Cooper to his smart 30.37s heat win.

He is provided with swooping claims from the eight trap.

Wendy Kite produced Stormy Jay to deliver her bold pace-making 30.61s heat win.

She will be looking to adopt those same on the pace-racing tactics in this decider.

Meanwhile, Cole has qualified a greyhound in each of the rich Group 1 finals to be contested during next Thursday's New Zealand Cup meeting at the Addington Raceway.

The regular Hatrick Friday evening 520m chaser Blazin' Carter will contest the $125,000 Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup.

He will jump from trap six after he produced his 30.03s 520m semifinal win on Wednesday.

His litter sister Blazin' Aubrey is the NZ Cup first reserve.

Cole's sharp sprinter Sir Duggie will be missing from the open class sprinting fields for the next two Friday's after he produced his strong 17.14s win over 295m in the semifinal of the $30,000 The Fitz Sports Bar Galaxy Sprint.

He has been allocated the one trap to leap away from.
