One of the strongest open class fields that has been assembled for quite a while will contest tomorrow evening's main 520m event (Race 10) at Hatrick.

The field contains two greyhounds from the Angela Turnwald kennels in Foxton, who between them have won five Group 1 races along with $274,731 in stake earnings.

Nature's Gent makes his return to this venue following his last start Manukau miss, after he jumped away from the personally unsuitable trap seven.

This winner of three Group 1 titles, two of them at Hatrick, is going to enjoy hopping away from the two trap.

He is a noted railing greyhound, who thrives when he races close to the rail.

Kennelmate Diddilee has won two Group 1 races this season.

Ironically, he will be sighted wearing the blue racing vest from the four trap, which is the trap he won both of those elite titles from.

He displays brilliant track sense, which he effectively used when he won last month's Auckland Cup, and using that asset has greatly contributed to his outstanding race record in the top class ranks.

Blazin' Carter uses pace-making tactics to win his races, as seen when delivered his last start freewheeling Cambridge 457m win for his trainer Lisa Cole.

He will look to secure the early race lead from trap three, just like he did here two races ago when he was run down late.

It was Hey Fernando, the recent exciting addition to the Gary and Sandra Fredrickson kennels, who gathered in Blazin' Carter in that 520m race.

He then headed down to the Addington Raceway last week, where he delivered an eye catching 520m second.

Hey Fernando must be respected from trap six here.

Idol Dude appeals as a greyhound who can inject some spice into the race combo's for his conditioner Marcie Flipp, while the locally Brian Marsh-prepared Tyson's Quest has drawn to use his known early pace from the ace trap.

The slippery Cole-trained sprinter Sir Duggie made his return to racing in Monday's open class 305m sprint.

He was run down late in that dash by his kennelmate Bigtime Wendle.

This pair clash again in the 305m Race 5 dash here.

Another pair of sprinters from the same kennel hold post race podium claims.

Bigtime Blackie will enjoy being placed away into the one trap here, while Bigtime Eve finished a close up third in Monday's 305m third.
