Owing to the Christchurch Casino NZ Cup series, currently underway at Addington, the greyhounds who require one more win to attain open class status provide the main 520m chasing action during tomorrow's Hatrick Raceway meeting.

There are a number of regular Friday open class chasers who will contest the 520m heats for the $125,000 NZ Cup tonight.

There are two greyhounds engaged in this evening's Christmas At the Races Here event of Race 10 who attained their open class chasing stripes after they won their respective Manawatu 457m races on Monday.

Greyhounds who hold forward acceptances when they win a race are entitled to run out those nominations, as is the case here, therefore this pair are looking to capitalise on the bonus C4 opportunity they receive for Hatrick.

Bigtime Mia controlled the pace throughout when she delivered her tidy 25.95s Monday 457m win for Lisa Cole.

She is presented with repeat claims from the one trap here.

Her kennelmate Trojan Hoarse used the same pace-making tactics to claim his 25.99s 457m Monday win.

He will be sighted hopping away from trap seven tomorrow.

Others in this event who can deny either of them a bonus C4 win includes another couple of Cole contenders in Bigtime OnFire and Bigtime Fred.

Local trainer Errol Duganzich produced his charge All About Space to lead a C3 520m field all the way to clock 30.31s last Friday.

She can feature here by using her early pace.

The open class sprinters are in action in the Liquorland Wanganui C5 305m dash Race 5).
Cole has presented her sharp sprinter Sir Duggie to win the main 305m sprint feature over the last two Fridays.

He is poised to add another win tomorrow after being allocated trap one to hop away from.

Bigtime Blackie returns here after landing a pair of stylish recent Manawatu 375m wins.

She can feature from trap three in this dash, as can Bigtime Eve, who is presented with swooping claims from trap eight.

Looking to deny Cole a podium clean sweep is Mila Mila from the Angela Turnwald kennels.

She has drawn to deliver a competitive sprint from trap two.

Consider the Marcie Flipp-prepared Scooter's Rose as the potential combo's booster here.
She is resuming from a spell and she won't object about being required to jump away from the seven trap.
