Have you taken action to improve your health yet? Did you start 2017 with good intentions and not follow through with them? Well, the year is nearly over and you know what, it's never to late to start. In fact if you're reading this and want to make a start then comein and see us today. Your health is too important to leave another day.
This is always a busy time of year at Her Fitness. Many women know from experience that keeping their fitness routine going will give them the energy they need to enjoy Christmas and New Year celebrations and not collapse in a heap on Christmas Eve. Even planned events like holidays should never come between you and your exercise routine.
Your health is not something you look after for six months then put on the back burner while you take a break. Your good health enables you to take a holiday whether it be a relaxing and rejuvenating break away or an adventurous one.
We are into the festive season when for some all good intentions fly out the window. Well, here are a few tips to help you stay on track.
Do not give up exercise. I don't care if you are hungover, eaten too much, haven't got time, too busy shopping, on holiday, or don't feel like exercising. Make time. Keep in mind that your health comes before anything else, and nothing but your health should be your number one priority.

Compensate during the week. If you know you have a party on the weekend focus on keeping calories down during the week and keep up the exercise level.
At a party, drink lots of water, before and during the party. Have a huge glass of water before having your first wine of the evening, that way you will be hydrated, feel fuller, and will more likely sip your wine as opposed to swill it. Stay away from fruit juice and fizzy drinks — these are full of sugar and calories. Plan Ahead. You know where you're going. If it's a big function with a buffet type plan, then choose food carefully. Do not load your plate with food from every corner of the table and stay away from chippies, cheeses, nuts and pastries.
