Whanganui Police are seeking the occupants of a car that hit a tree on Anzac Parade.
One driver was arrested after a car chase and Whanganui police are seeking another after incidents over the weekend.
In one incident, the driver fled from police but the pursuit ended when his car was spiked.
It began shortly before 9pm on Friday night when police pulled over a vehicle
on Somme Parade near Park Place.
"As the officer was walking to the car, the driver drove away," a spokesperson said.
"Police initiated a brief pursuit and the vehicle was successfully spiked on Alma Road near Harper Street where the driver was arrested."
