Firefighters were called to a Waitotara quarry on Wednesday night after two front loading diggers were reported on fire.

The Waverley crew was called to Rangitoto West Rd in Waitotara just after 6pm.

The crew arrived to the fire fully involved. It was extinguished by the brigade.
