"I love building with Lego too and we belong to Well-Lug (Wellington Lego User Group) and we have the group's support for the show.
"It is very therapeutic for adults, helps you connect with your inner child and have fun," says Cresswell.
She has built a miniature world of fun using the Ninjago Lego series which will be on display at the show this weekend.
"There will be Lego play pits, displays, interactive stuff, raffles, prizes and Toyworld will be bringing some special deals."
Cresswell said local sponsors have been very generous with donations of goods and services and there will be several raffles and prizes on offer at the show.
Wanganui RDA is fundraising to purchase their Purnell St site from NZ Transport Agency and at last count, it had raised around $140,000 towards the $445,000 it needs by June 2020.
