The Whanganui War Memorial Centre will be filled with many miniature worlds made from Lego bricks and accessories this weekend.

Devon Cresswell 8, loves building with the Danish toy company kitsets and he also loves attending Riding for the Disabled (RDA).

Mum Erina Cresswell thought it would be a great idea to arrange an event that would employ one of his passions to help support the other.

"I love building with Lego too and we belong to Well-Lug (Wellington Lego User Group) and we have the group's support for the show.

"It is very therapeutic for adults, helps you connect with your inner child and have fun," says Cresswell.

She has built a miniature world of fun using the Ninjago Lego series which will be on display at the show this weekend.

"There will be Lego play pits, displays, interactive stuff, raffles, prizes and Toyworld will be bringing some special deals."

Cresswell said local sponsors have been very generous with donations of goods and services and there will be several raffles and prizes on offer at the show.
