Emergency services at two-car collision in Whanganui's Victoria Ave

Two people with moderate injuries were taken to Whanganui Hospital after in a two-car collision near the intersection of Victoria Ave and Dublin St.

A police spokeswoman said police, Fire and Emergency crews and St John were called to the incident about 3.15pm on Friday.

There was initally a suggestion that one vehicle had caught fire but that was not the case.
