Crash on State Highway 3 at Kai Iwi near Whanganui

Two vehicles have collided on State Highway 3 at Kai Iwi, near Whanganui.

Four people received minor injuries in a crash between two vehicles on State Highway 3 at Kai Iwi on Wednesday.

The crash happened around midday between Kai Iwi Valley Rd and Rangitatau East Rd.

A St John spokeswoman said four people were assessed by ambulance staff for minor injuries.

None needed to be taken to hospital.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
