Four-Letter-Word Stories
Tutor: Margi Keys
Writing short (<100 words) four-letter-word (FLW) stories is a lot of fun.
Four-letter-word stories may be thought of as silly biographical fiction, or true stories with embellishment. Written without articles, most pronouns and prepositions, the challenge of constructing stories using only four-letter words is fun and stimulating.
The icing on the cake will be the sharing at the end of each session!! Wednesday evenings, 6.30-8pm
3 Sessions, $45

'Danika & Rocco' Fabric Doll Workshop
Tutor: Jill Maas
Danika, (meaning morning star) comes from Taumarunui where her grandparents settled after immigrating to New Zealand. She was brought up on a sheep station where she mustered sheep on horseback and bagged manure for pocket money.
Locally known as 'The Marchioness', possibly as her advice is given freely and she has quite a strong disposition, but she also has a large degree of kindness and is a hard worker. Rocco, (of questionable breeding) was found marauding at her boundary fence. She fell in love with his cute face, adopted him, registered him, micro chipped him and he had a small operation, he's not quite forgiven her for that! But they have become constant companions. He protects her from wild beasts and only does trivial misdeeds when he feels ignored. A list of requirements will be provided on enrolment. (There is a $10 fee for the pattern payable to Jill over the weekend). Saturday & Sunday, 9.30am-3pm
2 Days, $95
T 2 starts: 15 & 16 July
Still on our list are music, languages, upholstery, woodwork, photography and photoshop courses.
