Assault admitted A man pleaded guilty toa charge of male assaults female in Whanganui District Court on Tuesday. Jahvarn Vaughn Iremonger will appear for sentencing on December 18.
Held in custody Owen James Heke appeared in court on Tuesday facing 10 charges. They are driving while disqualified, procuring or possessing methamphetamine, contravening a protection order, common assault, unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, reckless driving, failing to stop for police, failing to remain stopped for an enforcement officer and resisting police. Heke was remanded in custody until November 27.
