Wanganui rugby players Shaun McDonough, Josh Edwards and Areta Lama are leading the pack with their Blue Check Undies.

While rep players have a big date in Westport today where they take on Buller, they found time to boost the Blue September health campaign and remind men - whether rugby players or not - to have their prostate checked. To keep the message at the forefront, Swandri is commemorating its 100th birthday by expanding its range to include the Blue Check Undies that are selling for $25 a pair, with $10 going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. In 2009, Placemakers chose the foundation as its national charity and over the past four years has built houses, ridden bikes, painted faces and fund-raised their hearts out to raise $1 million for the cause.
