Raetihi's Seddon St

The Armed Offenders Squad joined Police in the search for a man who was believed to have left a Raetihi property with a gun following a "family harm" incident.

A spokesperson said police were alerted to the incident in Raetihi at about 3.30pm on Monday.

"A man at an address reportedly left armed with a firearm," the spokesperson said.

The Armed Offenders Squad were called in to assist armed Police to locate the man who found at another property at about 7pm and taken into Police custody.
