Allegedly stolen vehicle crashes in Castlecliff, Whanganui, after police chase

Whanganui Police were involved in a vehicle chase in Castlecliff on Tuesday morning.

A vehicle crashed in Castlecliff this morning after a brief police chase.

The crash happened at the intersection of Heads Rd and Cross St about 6.50am.

A spokesman said police were involved in a brief pursuit of an allegedly stolen white ute which then crashed.

No injuries were reported, he said.

No further information was available about the incident and inquiries were ongoing.
