A date has been set for Nadia Reid's Auckland show.

Spare a thought for the singer/songwriter. She had to stop a Saturday night show at Auckland's Tuning Fork three songs in due to illness brought on by a virus she'd been battling for days.

Reid posted on social media: "I'm so so sorry for having to stop my show tonight. I tried my absolute best to do the show but my body has just stopped and I couldn't do the songs justice. Thank you so much for coming."

A rescheduled show last week then had to be postponed when Cyclone Cook grounded members of Reid's band in Wellington.

Auckland, it seems like everything is against us tonight. I promise you we'll reschedule this show and it'll be amazing....

The good news for fans is: a date for the show has been set - April 26 at the Tuning Fork.

Existing tickets for the original shows are still valid, and those still needing tickets are advised to watch Ticketmaster and Reid's Facebook page.

It will be the final show of her Preservation tour and will feature support from Steve Abel.

Royal Blood gave themselves a hard act to follow with their 2014 self-titled debut album.

Fans will be able to judge their sophomore effort with the release of How Did We Get So Dark? on June 16.

The hard rock duo's first single from the album, Lights Out, is a classic Royal Blood Tune, with grinding bass riffs over a solid beat.

The new song from English singer Fyfe, aka Paul Dixon, features our very own Kimbra.

Belong is the first single from his upcoming record The Space Between, out June 9.

He says Kimbra is a "real creative force".
