Last Friday at the Community Arts Centre, The Wanganui Potters' Society annual exhibition opened. The exhibition will be available for the public to view from today, and will showcase this year's best work.
Paintings by local artist Frances Sim-Higgins are also a part of the exhibition.
April Pearson is the guestpotter and chose the art works for the exhibition.
Her own works for the showcase will include achessboard and pieces, and a collection representing Maori and Viking mythological monsters.
"These works are about transitions, and serpents," Ms Pearson said.
