Lora button front chiffon maxi dress.

Lora button front chiffon maxi dress.

If you thought you'd seen the last of grunge back in the 1990s, think again. Grunge is back again this year, although it's a more dressed-up version.

It's still comfortable and tartan-heavy but slightly less dirty.

Think more Miranda Kerr than Courtney Love. Haul out your Dr Martens from the back of the cupboard and team them with a pair of distressed jeans, or go right back to the 90s and wear them with a floral maxi dress.

Concert T-shirts can get an airing, along with leather jackets and deliberately messy bed hair.

Pull out a knee-length skirt and pop an oversized coat over the top and go overboard with some heavy eye makeup.
