Four veteran stars and plenty of chemistry to go around -- Last Vegas is good fun.

Billy (Michael Douglas), Paddy (Robert de Niro), Archie (Morgan Freeman) and Sam (Kevin Kline) have been best mates since childhood.

And although their lives have taken vastly different routes over the years, the friendships have stayed strong and the mateship has not diminished.

When sworn bachelor Billy announces he is finally getting married (to a woman half his age), the gang decide it is appropriate to throw him a bachelor party in Las Vegas.

They are going to party like it's -- 1958!

But Billy and Paddy must first bury some bad blood that had recently emerged if they want the weekend to work.

Putting aside medical issues and marriage problems, the boys are determined to relive their youth and make the most of Las Vegas.

They are going to party and dance and drink whatever they like with whomever they like.

Amid all the fun comes the realisation that Billy might be making a big mistake. Is he marrying for the right reasons?

The class and experience of this cast is what makes Last Vegas.

Their interactions and comic timing work brilliantly and Kevin Kline, in particular, plays a magical role as a man looking to rekindle the sexual prowess of his youth.
