Justin Long and Evan Rachel Wood in A Case of You

Justin Long and Evan Rachel Wood in A Case of You

Few personal secrets remain in the Facebook era. Information is so widely shared and available that it can be used in all sorts of ways - good and bad.

Sam (Justin Long), a young author, wants very much to meet Birdie (Evan Rachel Wood), the beautiful and flighty young woman who serves him his coffee every morning.

But Sam feels he has nothing to offer Birdie that she would be interested in.

So he decides to transform himself into the man of her dreams. And how does he do it? Facebook.

Sam thinks by viewing her profile and learning her interests, he can become the perfect man.

So guitar lessons are followed by martial arts and ballroom dancing. He reads her favourite books and listens to her favourite music.

And he succeeds in making Birdie fall for him. The hardest part is then to keep up the act and continue to be the most interesting man on the planet.

Eventually, the time comes to lay his cards on the table and reveal his true self.

Hopefully, Birdie has fallen in love with the man and not what he appears to be. A Case of You is a topical look at love in the Facebook era. Long and Wood deliver a tasteful love story.
