Work begins on site for $1m hunting shop

A building site at Wanganui's Carlton Ave roundabout is being prepared for the construction of the new Wanganui Hunting & Fishing store and cafe.
The business is owned by the Amon and Skedgwell families, Keryn Amon said.
The new store will be framed up by Totalspan Steel Sheds & Buildings and finished by Mr Amon and a Waverley builder, using aerated concrete panels.
With the land included, the whole project would cost about $1 million.
It could be finished by the end of October.
