The Pop-Up Store has popped up in Wanganui's Victoria Ave where Precioso used to be.
It opened on December 2, selling women's fashion clothing for all ages.
The clothing is imported from China and on sale at a 25 to 75 per cent discount, co-owner Rob Vinsen said.
The clothes
have been sourced from importers who want to clear their surpluses, and the store is an experiment.
"Pop-up shop" is an international term used to describe a shop that appears in usually previously vacant premises, Mr Vinsen said. It is usually there for a short time only, and selling at heavily discounted prices. Vinsen and his wife Lynne will decide at the end of February whether to keep theirs going.
They have an option to renew its lease after that.
