Ink cartridges for printers can now be refilled at a fraction of the usual price in Wanganui
New Plymouth's Brian Kettle has opened a branch of the Cartridge World franchise in the Top Block of Victoria Ave. He also owns the New Plymouth franchise.
Savings were usually about 60 per
cent on refilling small inkjet cartridges, he said. In the past, people have had to send some away for refilling.
Refilling avoided waste as most cartridges could be used at least four times.
The Wanganui store opened just after Christmas. As well as refilling or swapping printer cartridges - sometimes on the spot and within minutes - it also repairs and advises on printers and sells new cartridges.
