Pipe leak speeds up LJ Hooker move

A burst pipe at LJ Hooker's upper Victoria Ave, Wanganui, premises speeded up the move of the real estate franchise into the Bridge Block last week.
The franchise is owned by Steve and Sue Ellis, who are also co-owners of the Victoria Ave building.
The downtown location was better for the 12 agents in the franchise, Mr Ellis said.
"There's more foot traffic, and the sort of traffic where people are having dinner and drinks and going to the cinema.
"While waiting, they will hopefully look in our window."
He also likes the coffee scene in the Bridge Block.
The new office will have an official opening later this month.
