A new challenge, a change of pace and more flexibility, prompted two former Wanganui Hospital physiotherapists to start their own business.
Juliet Brodie and Lynne Powley specialise in treating injuries to the hand and lower arm. Their Physiotherapy Hand Clinic opened in Wanganui's Sarjeant St in November.
Much of theirwork is paid for by ACC but they also take private clients.
The commonest injuries they help people recover from are fractured wrists and fingers, cuts and damaged tendons.
The two share their building with Medlink International Medical Recruitment.
