Broadband session

A free, ultrafast broadband information session will be held from 5.15pm on Tuesday, 15 November. The opportunities UFB makes available will be outlined in practical, "non sales-push" addresses from respected national and local speakers. Question and answer and networking sessions will follow.

The hour-long event is at the Pioneer Room, Memorial Hall - note change of venue. (If attending please email: UFBRSVP@lampstudios.co.nz)

Melanie Morris of Training and Beyond, the keynote speaker at the UFB get-together will included descriptions of NZ-developed Xero and Workflowmax applications in her address.

Rod Drury's Xero:

Xero's online accounting software is now used in over 100 countries, it has over 200,000 active users, and has already processed more than $50 billion in customer transactions.

Online accounting: "Xero" enables you to run your business and access your accounts anytime - at work, from home or from anywhere in the world. You can see your cashflow in real time, and invite others to view your accounts and provide valuable real-time advice.

Workflowmax is ideal for all small to medium service businesses, and will save you time each day, and provide an easy to understand view of your business.

Timesheets: Flexible time entry means there is an input method to suit everyone. Just use daily or weekly time sheets, a mobile device or whatever to input your time entries

Job Tracking: Gives you maximum visibility on your jobs. You know who is working on what, where and when, and how long it has taken.

Project management, purchase orders and reporting: Graphical scheduling improves understanding, and facilitates updating of job, task and milestone deadlines. All purchase orders are tied to a job, and they are all tracked and subsequently invoiced. The inbuilt Report Builder Tool creates informative reports for each project.

Quotations and invoices: Creates professional looking quotations and invoices.

Collaboration: Workflowmax facilitates project-related information sharing between your staff members, and with your customers.
