Kristy Whittington and Rachel Brandon want to welcome you to their new "home".

The pair have teamed up as business partners in a new home decor store called Blank Kanvas Concepts. They put out the welcome mat earlier this month at their new shop at 181a Victoria Ave. The principle is simple: to provide an eclectic range of goods, from personalised gifts to a complete decorating fit-out of your home.

Among other things the shop's inventory includes jewellery, wall and table decor, fabrics, soft furnishings and furniture. 'We've got something for everybody here," Ms Whittington said.

Ms Brandon is an interior designer and has combined her talents with Ms Whittington who is making a career change from her former job as a hair dresser and salon owner.

"We've both got a passion for interior design," Ms Brandon said.
