The New Zealand Credit Union is spreading its wings in Wanganui.
It already has a branch at Wanganui Hospital and will soon open another on the corner of Victoria Ave and Dublin St to serve its 400 local members.
NZCU Baywide was established in September 1971 and is a 100 per cent
New Zealand-owned co-operative.
Services offered include loans, savings and investment accounts and insurance cover.
The Victoria Ave branch will have a staff of four.
"We are really excited about the move to this prime city location," says Grant Porter, manager of operations at Baywide.
"The high-profile site will allow exposure of NZCU Baywide's unique banking offering to a wider audience."
Members already receive fee rebates based on the total value of the relationship across its range of products and services. Last year over $500,000 was rebated to Baywide's members.
NZCU Baywide is the largest credit union in New Zealand and part of a larger group of NZCU credit unions which give access to an extensive network of branches.
