Kate Speedy once again lived up to her surname by winning the Year 8 girls race over 2.7km, to followup her Year 7 win last year in the 1.8km run.
Huntley School runners would win three of the four individual titles.
Schoolmate Lillah Cornelius was second, just ahead of Whanganui Intermediate's Katie Ramage, who repeated her third placing from the 2017 Year 7 race.
Last year, Huntley's Johnathon Jamieson was runnerup in the Year 7 race but in 2018 he would not be headed for the Year 8 title – winning by a comfortable margin from George Davey of St George's and Heike Reitrma of Fordell, who had a close finish for the minor honours.
