The Ministry of Social Development's new purpose built property on St Hill St is on the market just a year after staff moved in.

The single-storey property will go under the hammer on June 28.

About 120 staff moved into the premises in February last year bringing all of MSD's services under one roof, including Work and Income, Child Youth and Family, and Senior Services.

MSD will have a long term lease on the building and it was purpose built for the ministry.
