Jax Hamilton's flair and cheeky sense of humour won hearts at her Marton Harvest Fair cooking demonstration.

The celebrity chef hit New Zealand headlines during the second series of MasterChef New Zealand and hasn't stopped since.

Jax has been a guest at numerous high-profile events and makes regularly appears on TVNZ 1's Good Morning. She features on Countdown supermarket ads and in-store promotions with the Feed Four for $15 Campaign.

As a busy mother, cook, author and businesswoman, Jax said she likes her dishes to have all the wow without all the work and she is known for preparing dishes that are simple, delicious and full of flavour.

Jax never moves too far from the regular pantry ingredients.

So it was on Sunday, with a handful of fresh herbs on the side allow for a bucket-load of creativity.

In her presentations, Jax enjoys sharing her inspirational story about starting over and the amazing MasterChef journey.

She hosts cooking demonstrations, where she freely admits she is a big fan of using fresh and seasonal ingredients.

With a ready laugh and a sharp wit Jax appealed to all the punters at the Harvest Fair on Sunday.
