A personal passion for animals including her own pretty pup Tūī has led pop singer Benee to team up with Country Retreat Animal Sanctuary, which provides a safe haven for vulnerable animals. Run by husband-and-wife team Helen and Gavin, who focus on the rescue and nurture of pregnant mothers and very young puppies, the organisation has teamed up with Benee and local knitwear stalwart Standard Issue, releasing from today the Standard Issue x Benee Limited Edition Vest supporting Country Retreat Animal Sanctuary, crafted with a zero-waste output in Standard Issue's Auckland workroom.

Featuring an illustration by artist Logan Buchanan, the 100 per cent fine merino wool vests are available in a chocolate brown and blue colour-way with 100 per cent of the profits from this collaboration donated to aid in the building of much-needed infrastructure and resources for the animals. Sizes range from XS to 2XL $199.
