Mathew Madams - pleads guilty to manslaughter of Craig Rippon.

Mathew Thomas Madams and one youth have pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter at the Whanganui High Court on Thursday.

Tyrone Peter Madams, Matthew Thomas Madams, Kevin Roy Madams, and two youths were charged with the murder of Craig Rippon, 57, and with participating in a criminal organisation. They had all denied the charges.

On Thursday Mathew Madams and the youth plead guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter.

Their sentencing is due to take place on February 3.

The trial of Tyrone Peter Madams, Kevin Roy Madams, and one youth continues today.
