Results from leg 2 of the Quiksilver NZ NSSS, held in fine 2-4' waves and offshore conditions at Baylys Beach on Friday, May 17, feature below.

Under 14s: girls Grace Pevats (Huanui College) 1, Billie Scott 2, Nyena Weeds (Kerikeri High School) 3, Julia Moyle (Kerikeri) 4; boys: Kalani Hansen (Kaitaia College) 1, Callum Mekkelholt (Kaitaia) 2, Jamahl Moselen (Whangarei Boys High) 3, Quinn Bedford (Rodney College) 4.

On behalf of the organisers of the 2013 Northland Scholastics Surfing Series, contest director Tony Baker thanked Sport Northland, the sponsors and all Northland secondary schools for supporting the series this year. He advised leg 3 of the series is scheduled for early Term 3 with more information to come closer to the time.
