The young equestrians of the Kaitaia RDA Pony Club put on an entertaining display of the activities they perform during their weekly rallies when the organisation held its final rally for the season in conjunction with its annual prizegiving ceremony on Saturday, July 13.
Parents and club supporters watched as
the riders did barrel racing, show-jumping, cantering, trotting and musical horses before prizegiving took place where the following equestrians were recognised for the efforts during the season.
Most improved rider: Kira Watson, Best combination: Nirvana Doak and Casper, Best rider: Zoe Braddock. As well two riders who completed their certificates this season were, Courtenay Hammond (D Certificate) and Christina Nolden (C Certificate).
The club's new 2013/14 season begins in October.
