The two home teams kept their unbeaten record at Waipap in local darts last Wednesday after hosting Awanui and Mussel Rock, with Betty Masters notable for putting in a good performance for Awanui taking out two games.

The two Waipap teams go head-to-head in two weeks' time to sort out who is top dog at Waipap. Elsewhere, Muriwhenua's Frank Roberts won four from four and looks to have found his form again before the Northland team playoffs at the end of May, while Murray's Bar's Syd Morris top scored for his team.

The 180s keep on coming for RSA One, with Jason Matthews hitting his first in competition and then brother Leighton -not wanting his sibling to have one up on him - throwing his first 180 as well. At the Kauri Arms, Houhora Warriors and Chiefs took on and beat the Nuggets and Young Guns respectively, with Peter Ross hitting the most 100-plus scores while Young Guns' Martha Anderson showed a steady hand when after the double to finish the game and winning three out of four matches.

Results from Wednesday, May 7: RSA One 13 RSA Three 3 (highest score Jason Matthews, L Matthews and Bob Knaggs 180, highest finish Chris Bell 81), Waipap One 11 Mussel Rock 5 (HS Brian Steed 180, HF Denny Wattling 91), Waipap Two 14 Awanui 2 (HS Keith Morris 180, HF K Morris 91), Murray's Bar 5 Muriwhenua 11 (HS Mike Mitchell 140, HF Kathy Pawa 64), Kauri Arms Young Guns 4 Houhora Chiefs 12 (HS Frank Hurinui 140, HF P Ross 113), Kauri Arms Nuggets 3 Houhora Warriors 13 (HS Shane Godinet 140, HF Dobbie Rollo 128); and no cards from either Ngati Bitza v Collard XL, and Kaitaia Club v Ngati Bitza 2.

The draw for tomorrow, week 8: Muriwhenua v Young Guns, Collards Hawks v Waipap 2, RSA 3 v Kauri Arms 2, Ngati Bitza 2 v Warriors, Awanui v RSA Red, Chiefs v Kaitaia, Mussel Rock v RSA 1, Ngati Bitza v Murray's Bar bye: Waipap 1.
