'TIS THE SEASON: Danielle Collings dressing the Northland Age Christmas tree.

The time for giving has arrived once again, and the Northland Age invites readers to think of others as the Christmas season begins.

All contributions of gifts and non-perishable food will once more be passed on to the Salvation Army, which will make sure that everything goes to Far North families who struggle to make ends meet at the best of times, let alone the festive season.

The Sallies plan to collect what's placed under the tree in the Northland Age office in Commerce Street Kaitaia on Friday December 19.

It would be helpful if wrapped gifts were marked with the appropriate recipient's age and gender.

Gifts and donations of food will also be welcomed by the MOKO team/Foundation at the MOKO clinic at Kaitaia Primary School or Te Kohanga Whaka Ora clinic at Kaitaia Hospital.
