The Duchess of Sussex, Megan Markle.

The Duchess of Sussex, Megan Markle.

There is currently debate about the cost of the British Royal Tour of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The figure $1 million-plus being mentioned.

Now just last week there was a conference of some sort trying to prove a point or something. I can't remember what it was. You guessed it, $1m-plus, the cost.

All the petty, small-minded, penny-pinching, precious, PC crowd need to take a good look at themselves.

Prince Harry made two tours of duty in the hell hole of Afghanistan, and initiated the Invictus Games, held in Sydney for disabled war veterans. Surely he is entitled to some small reward.
It needs to be spelt out, apart from the goodwill created, much employment is gained in the form of hotel staff, restaurants, drivers, security personnel, shopkeepers and everyone else that benefits in some way or another.

I say, why not just enjoy the tour? They don't happen very often.
