Eyes opened

For around about four decades, mainstream news and current affairs media and entertainment media have been in thrall to left-wing feminism (sometimes called liberalism), and, during that time, have done their best to brainwash their captive audience into thinking along those lines.

In New Zealand we're talking about the major newspapers, most radio stations, TV1, TV2, TV3 and PrimeTV, and cinema.

They've lied, and they've suppressed or ridiculed middle-of-the-road and conservative viewpoints.

They've produced and fostered a squillion movies and TV programmes that've exalted liberals, left-wing feminists.

They've stubbornly called homosexuals 'gays', and excoriated those who would call them homosexuals.

They've referred to pro-abortion activists as "pro-choice" (i.e. a choice between killing and not killing an in utero child), but they've never called pro-mining activists "pro-choice".

Overseas, the mainstream media have told their huge audience how to vote recently, ridiculing alternative options. During the US presidential election, it became revealed that the US mainstream media even colluded with the liberal candidate to promote her victory.

Despite this, the UK public voted to leave the EU and the US public voted to dismiss the Democratic candidate.

The question that arises is: Have the liberal media learned that they have become irrelevant?

That huge audience has seen through the lies and the deceit.

They've recognised that liberalism is a fraud.

There is no use calling for an investigation into the US voting, as some are; there's no use calling for another referendum on Brexit, as some are. The people have spoken.

There's no use bewailing the democratic process, and proposing an elitist system exclusive to liberal voters, as some are; the people will not be denied - think the French Revolution.

Australian politicians who have refused their voters a referendum on homosexual "marriage" will learn that.

The time has come, long after time, when they all need to enjoy an attitude adjustment. If they want to retain listeners, readers, viewers in any useful number, they have to jettison the Gwynne Dyers, the Rosemary McLeods, the Peter Cullens et al. They have to hastily re-employ the Narelle Hensons, the Karl du Fresnes et al.

But, of course, they could just keep marching like lemmings to the cliff.
